Katy and I are so humbled and grateful for Crossfire Student Ministries (CFM), the youth group at The Bridge A/G. I had the privilege of growing up in CSM. I would not be where I am today without the blessing of such a great youth group, youth pastors, and church.
This past Wednesday Katy and I had the opportunity to speak for a few minutes to the CFM students. We shared about our ministry in Ireland and encouraged them to embrace God's heart for missions. "I sat in the exact same seat you are in tonight," I said. I explained that they have the opportunity to impact students in Dublin, Ireland by investing in our ministry.
This youth group, under the leadership of Doug Wyatt and Ryan Summers, has committed to raise the funds to buy us a Speed the Light vehicle when we get to Dublin. What faith!! Speed the Light exists to "speed the light" of the gospel to a world in darkness. They provide essential transportation and creative communication equipment for missionary evangelism.
Between now and December, the students of CFM will be giving sacrificially, doing fundraisers, and working their tails off to raise $35,000. All so we can have a vehicle to reach and minister to the college students of Dublin, Ireland. We are humbled and forever grateful for a youth group that is committed to missions. Our team of supporters and prayers is blessed to have CFM join us.
Pray with me that God would bless these students and their commitment to raise money for missions.
Thank you CFM students for participating in what God is going to do in Dublin, Ireland.
