The past two weeks have been CRAZY!
All four of us here at the Edgmon house decided to get Covid one after the other. First, Eden and Katy showed symptoms and tested positive. Eli quickly followed with a positive test. I was the late adopter and got it last. Thankfully the kids had little to no struggle at all throughout the 7 day quarantine. Katy and I felt like we had relatively bad colds but nothing else too intense. The toughest part was working out our busy week to be restructured and operate from home.
Another huge blessing was Katy being allowed out of isolation on the day of a crucial training day for Zoe volunteers (pic above). This was the first in a series of training days helping to educate the Zoe team on child safety and what that will mean in our specific context. The lovely Miriam (expert in Irish child safety policies) was so kind to give her time in training us as a team.
We’re still waiting to hear from the charity regulator. We’re praying that Katy and I can shake off the rest of these symptoms. And we’re praying for YOU. We pray you are blessed and encouraged this week! Thank you for all your prayers and support. We’re all in this together!
