We are busy this week (as usual) working on Zoe Community. It’s a typical week for us really, other than the kids being out of school fo Easter break. Katy’s working on policy writing, office reorganizing, podcast prepping, and many meetings with various Zoe team members. I (Blake) am busy working on financial reporting, house cleaning, podcast editing, and various meetings with potential financial software providers for Zoe.
I wanted to highlight a particular meeting that is happening this week. Katy will host a zoom meeting with our 20+ volunteers to participate in hypothetic case studies, rehearsing potential conversations and interactions they may be faced with in supporting women in crisis. Our amazing volunteers have been through rigorous training and are adamant about being fully prepared to help these women through our 24/7 live web chat.
This brings up a point of prayer. We cannot go live with our 24/7 web chat until charity status is received. We are approximately 18 months into the process and are still waiting on the Irish Charities Regulator. However, we feel closer than ever. It could literally be any day now that we receive this status.
Please pray with us for a speedy finish, for favour, and for perfect timing as we are able to go live as an organization. Thank you for all your prayers and support!
