This past week we had the privilege of hosting a construction team from The Bridge, our home church in the US. Their mission was to add insulation and dry wall the attic space where the St. Marks Churchyouth and college groups have their weekly meeting. Not only did they finish that, but they found time to build a stage!
I would like to thank St. Mark's for doing a wonderful job of hosting the team and showing them around Dublin. You were kind and gracious hosts who truly embodied the hospitality for which Ireland is known. You showed the love of Christ to those sent to serve.
I would also like to thank the men from The Bridge who took a week of their life to bless this congregation. You were hard working, flexible, and humble. You connected with the people of St. Mark's in a special way. We were blessed by your hearts for God.
As someone with a foot in both camps, it was an honor to watch our two home churches work together for the Kingdom of God. Katy and I are so blessed to have these church families in our lives. Thanks to all.
And now for a very special treat...I present to you The Bridge Construction Team 2013.
