Blake and I spent the past week in Cologne, Germany with Students For Christ staff and students from all over Europe. We had an amazing time with people from Ireland, Belgium, Wales, France, Germany, The Netherlands, The Czech Republic, Romania, Slovenia, Poland, Norway, and Greece. This annual conference (called Connect) is for university students who have a heart to reach their peers.
One of the best things about this time away was being able to bond with our Irish friends. We had two students from Dublin with us - Sarah and James. They are both active members of our church and have a desire to be Christian influences on their respective campuses. We had the privilege of watching them grow even further in their walks with the Lord, developing deeper relationships with them, and havin’ a bitta craic.
We are so grateful for getting to know all of these people and to see their hearts for their friends back home. It’s such a great and humbling experience when we realize even more our responsibility to show the Love of Jesus to others. It was so awesome to share this time with everyone!
