Autumn at DCU

Last week we finished our series of prayer walks at Dublin City University (DCU). The campus is absolutely beautiful this time of year! Golden, red, and orange leaves signify the start of a new season.

There is a lovely mosaic on the wall of one of the buildings there that quotes a portion of Ecclesiastes 3:1. As Solomon wrote through God’s inspiration (and The Byrds swiped for their 1960’s rendition), “To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.

We believe this is a season in which students will begin to reach their full potential with Christ as their source. I spoke with a student at DCU who agreed that there is a need on campus for divine inspiration in order to reach their full potential, and that inspiration can only come through Christ.

Pray with us that this autumn would be a fruitful semester for the students at DCU and other universities across Dublin. We pray they will begin to realize their true identity in Christ, be inspired by the Holy Spirit, and live out their true potential in body, mind, and soul.

Amen.
