While we are always in times where we are tempted to feel anxious, God never abandons us. It can be easy to focus only on our unmet requests or our fears rather than on what Jesus is doing right under our noses. Let’s be joyful and focus on His goodness!
- Chapel Group at St. Marks had an amazing turnout for their first “friend event” of the semester. It was a massive success with over a hundred students in attendance (nearly half of those people were newcomers). Everyone in leadership gave 100% that night and worked as a team to ensure that the night was great fun, people had amazing food, and that relational connections took place. Praise God!
- The Alpha Course led by an amazing student at Carlow Institute of Technology has grown to so many attendees that she is actively seeking other Christians to help disciple those students!
- On a personal note, Eden was healed of a nagging cough that had gone on for a month. We were growing concerned after he started wheezing and developed a rash. After a quick trip to the doctor, much prayer, and a few doses of an inhaler, he bounced back to normal in just 24 hours!
- My (Katy) MRI results came back completely clear! Long story short, based on that result as well as my clean bill of health, the neurologist has determined that I do not need medication at this time.
There is so much more to be thankful for...it would take more words than this blog will allow. Be encouraged, everybody. Yes, we are stressed to the max. We are totally busy and there are concerns that pile up around us daily. However, God’s faithfulness shines past every worry that may confront us. He is our helper and provider.
