Our office is BUZZIN! We are busy with so many things happening represented in this one pic…Zoe Info Days for those interested in becoming volunteers, general admin work, development of Irish fundraising strategy, and social media marketing. I’ll highlight two amazing people on our team.

Audrey has been a volunteer for almost 2 years and is spearheading a new role as our Fundraising Lead. As the moment she is helping to build/launch our database for volunteers and Irish donors. This system will be a game-changing addition to our workflow allowing us to grow efficiently as an organisation. As this system solidifies Audrey will focus on preparing us for our first ever Irish fundraising campaign!

Princess is our brand new Social Media Manager. She oversees our posting, content creation, and overall strategy on Instagram and Facebook. She will also be starting our very first TikTok account soon! She’s already bringing great ideas and energy into our team.

Of course, our most longterm and influential team members are YOU. We’re so thankful that you provide our foundation through giving and prayer. We pray God blesses you and encourages you, because you are part of something beautiful happening in Ireland.

New Volunteers!

This past weekend started our annual month of volunteer intake. We hold “Info Days” on Saturdays in the month of December where people interested in volunteering with Zoe can meet us face to face. We tell them all about the history of Zoe, what we do as an organization, and ways they can be a part.

Please be in prayer for us this month as we have two more info days to go. One will be online, and the other will in a town called Tullow at Gateway Church.

• …volunteers willing to train as “advocates” (volunteers who run our live chat and meet guests face-to-face).

• …volunteers willing to help practically through admin, social media, and fundraising.

Amazing Opportunity: The Sound of Hope

As we launched Zoe Community in early October, God provided us with an unbelievable opportunity. The movie, Sound of Hope: The Story of Possum Trot, premiered in Ireland the very same week we launched! It’s a beautiful story of 22 families in a small community church who adopted 77 children. Worth a watch! One of the leaders helping to coordinate the premier (a friend of ours) contacted Katy and asked if we’d like to partner with the Sound of Hope team. Of course, we said, “yes!”

Katy and Sarah, our Chair of the Board for Zoe, were invited to attend the premier alongside the director of the film, Joshua Weigel, the lead actress, Nika King, and the pastor couple who inspired the movie, Bishop and First Lady Martin. Katy even got to sit down with the director, Josh, and record a podcast! The following day we took the team out to a famous Irish pub, and we spent a few hours just talking, laughing, and eating great food. It was amazing!

God orchestrated so many things to perfection during our launch week, and this is just one of them. We are so grateful for you as our team and, of course, to God for being so good.
