Kids Camp!

This year CCI (Assemblies of God Ireland) held it’s first Kids Camp, and both of our boys got to go! We were so excited to see this event announced and immediately signed the boys up. They had such a great time! I (Blake) went down to help with worship. I didn’t not stay overnight. Eden preferred that I was around but not too close by. Haha.

Some fellow AGWM missionaries, Tom and Brooke Harshberger did a phenomenal job pulling off is inaugural event. I’m so grateful to have opportunities for the boys to experience God apart from Katy and I. We pray that their faith is their own. Thank you Brooke and Tom!!

Little Matthew - Worship Leader in the Making

This little guy right here melts my heart. Pretty much every week I lead worship and play guitar at our home church here in Dublin, Open Arms Church. And nearly every week Matthew drags his mom up to the front row while we sing. A few weeks ago, he showed up so excited to show me his new guitar! Stood in the front row strumming along with the band.

This past week I found out that he even does little things like pretends to pull his imaginary pick out from the imaginary pick holder on the imaginary mic stand…just like I do! (except mine are real…most of the time). I was so moved and intimidated! I decided to pull out an extra mic stand the mic for him to use as he worshipped alongside us. I think he enjoyed it!

There are so many things to be said and enjoyed about this little guy. He’s absolutely brilliant, motivating, innocent, sweet, and excited! I’ll leave you with this thought. We never know who’s watching us. The little habits we allow, the faces we make, the attitudes we carry…people are watching. Sometimes young, impressionable people.

Lord, help me to be a worthy example to Matthew. Help me to glorify you and point him to you.

Thank you Conference Sponsors

As we mentioned a few weeks ago, our annual women’s conference was incredible. So many women’s lives where changed in some way that weekend. We are STILL hearing stories of what God did nearly a month later. All of you who pray and support Katy and I played a role in God’s work that weekend.

I want to take a minute to specifically thank those who sponsored a woman to attend the Unshamed Conference. Nearly 42 women were sponsored, several of whom had no way of making it without financial assistance. We had young ladies from Teen Challenge here in Ireland, a woman with eight children looking for a ray of hope in her life, a young lady who’s life was forever changed (her story in the video below), and so many more.

We are so grateful for each and every one of you. God has called us to Ireland in our own respective ways. Katy and I live and work here…you give and pray here. Together, God is using our team in amazing ways! Thank you!
