First Day of School...Again

I feel like it was just last week when I posted about our kiddos’ first day of school in 2023. Time flies! Eden is starting 5th grade and Eli is going into 2nd grade. (Here they call it 2nd and 5th class, fyi.)

Our plane landed back into Dublin at 5am on Tuesday morning from our trip to the US. Wednesday morning they were up and ready for school to start. Our amazing travel troopers! They were nervous and excited. They had a great first day and are looking forward to another school year here in Dublin.

Thank you so much for all your prayers and support. Not only are you partnering with us in ministry supporting women in crisis pregnancy, but you are also pouring love and prayer into our children. Katy and I are so thankful for you all.

Blazing the Trail

We are currently on a whirlwind trip through the US raising funds for Zoe Community and seeing family along the way. The kids are shockingly good at roadtrips and have even been good dealing with all this heat! (108°F in Texas last week!!) That pic above is from the famous Bucc-ees gas station on our drive from Louisiana to Oklahoma. We’re tired but having a great time.

Here are a few things we’re praying for, and we’d love you to pray too!

• Funding for the Unshamed Conference. If you’d like to help, shoot me a message!

• Registrations for our conference. We hope to have 150 women attend.

• Funding, preparation, and excitement for our official launch of Zoe Community on October 7th.

• The kids first day of school on August 28th. Praying they will be excited, prepared, and have great teachers for the year.

Helping Churches Old and New

One of the fun things I (Blake) get to do in my down time is to help churches with sound, video, and lighting strategies. I’ve done a bit more lately than normal in this summer season, but I love meeting pastors and church leaders around Ireland. They’re always so kind, passionate, and incredibly resourceful.

I get to come into all kinds of spaces, from warehouses to new builds to church buildings that are centuries old. It’s fascinating to see how every church is doing things in their own particular way to reach their own particular community. I love it!

The church picture above is an amazing work in the community of Crumlin. I got to spend some time with their pastor and my friend, Brian. We designed a sound system that will work for what they do and enhance the amazing church they’ve purchased and restored.
