One of the major pieces of Zoe’s mission statement is to facilitate national conversations around shame. This is why we sponsor the Unshamed Conference… a gathering of woman from across Ireland. Check out this video to hear stories from last year’s conference!

You can sponsor a woman to attend the Unshamed Conference! $150 will get a woman there to experience freedom from shame, gathering with women from across Ireland. How many will you sponsor? If you would like to give, email me at blake@zoecommunity.ie.

3 Giant Prayers

We are enjoying the start to summer, but we’re also excited to begin the ramp-up into a VERY busy Autumn. We’ve got our annual women’s conference (Unshamed Conference), Zoe Community’s official launch, Zoe’s launch party, and our annual Info Days just to name a few. Here are three things you can pray for as we begin the long road of prep for a crazy but amazing season ahead.

1. Please pray for our conference. We have 71 people signed up…nearly half way to full! Please pray we reach 150 attendees registered by August, that we have at least half of the women sponsored to attend ($150/woman), and that the Holy Spirit would guide our preparation as we design the conference content.

2. Please pray for Zoe’s official launch. Our website is now full alive (check it out here). We are doing final training sessions for our volunteers to start the live chat feature in the coming weeks. And on October 7th our marketing campaign will launch announcing to all of Ireland that we are here and ready to help.

3. Please pray for our launch party on October 11th. We will be hosting a ticketed dinner to celebrate all God has done to get Zoe launched. We’ll hear stories of the help Zoe has already been able to give to many women. And we’ll also be inviting new potential Irish donors to see our vision and sow seeds of financial partnership in the future.

We couldn’t do any of this without your prayers and support. Thank you so much for all you do. We pray you have has a very peaceful and celebratory 4th of July!

Last Day of School

Family update! Our boys, Eden and Eli, just finished another great year of school. Eli turned 8 a couple weeks ago, and Eden will be turning 11 soon. I can’t express how proud I am of each of these guys. We’re boys learning and growing on their journey to become Godly men.

Eli finished up “1st class”. He has made some friends this year and enjoyed having nearly his entire class at his birthday party! Eli is so empathic, can read the emotions in the room like a pro, and is always ready to play.

Eden finished up “4th class". He is showing the first signs of teenage years. A little too cool to hug his parents when going in to school, but still a sweet little boy at heart. He loves reading, playing football (soccer), and asking the deepest introspective questions right before bed time.

Katy and I are so blessed that God gave us these two boys to raise. While the challenges definitely come, they are the joy and light of our life. Thank you for all you do. When you’re praying and giving, you are also blessing our children. For that (and everything else) we are forever grateful.
