Week of Recovery

In celebration (and recovery) from achieving charity status and successfully completely our first women’s conference, our little family took a few days away. We went to Center Parcs in Longford, Ireland enjoying a real fireplace, cozy accommodation, water park fun, bowling, and so much more. The boys loved it and deserved some undivided attention after the last few weeks of insanity.

A month or so ago, in a moment of weakness, I asked Katy, “Will we be going away after the conference to lick our wounds or celebrate?” God is always faithful. We were able get away to reflect and celebrate on a fantastic last few weeks.

Thank you all for your continued prayers and support. We’re all in this together. The setbacks, the victories, the struggles, and live’s changed…you carry it all with us. Thank you. We can all celebrate together as our eyes turn toward the future…the official launch of Zoe Community.

Confessions, Shame, and Dancing

This past weekend we had our first ever women’s conference sponsored by Zoe Community. As we began planning over 9 months ago we knew quickly that God was going to do something special. Step by step God opened doors, gave us divine inspiration, and surrounded us with so many people to help us pull off this incredibly impactful event.

We welcomed over 130 women from all across Ireland. As our speakers shared their stories with grace, vulnerability, and humility the attendees were inspired to share their own and encouraged that they are not alone. We have so many testimonies of women finally able to share their story for the first time and finding freedom from the shame that clouded their lives. One having given up on life finding the strength and desire to continue to fight, this time with God and women around her.

And of course, they were treated to a 3-course dinner followed by an epic dance party that may or may not have sparked some fierce dance battles.

Thank you so much to Kim Masengale and Summit Church in PA for your months of mentorship, support, and team coming to help us pull this off. Thank you so much to The Bridge Church in OK for sending an outstanding team to help in so many invaluable ways. And thank YOU for all your prayers and support. Together, we’re making a difference in the lives of women all across Ireland.

Charity Status Update...THE BIG ONE

After nearly four years of updates, waiting, and praying I am so excited to let you know…

OUR CHARITY STATUS IS APPROVED!!!!

We were shocked when one evening the emails unexpectedly came through. We honestly felt a bit numb for the first few hours. For so long we’ve worked, waited, and prayed. One of our core team members said it best, “We feel like the dog that finally caught the car.”

What does charity status give us?

With charity status we have a recognized stamp of approval and accountability that will give us greater trust in local communities. We are also now allowed to publicly offer our services and help many more women in crisis pregnancy. Additionally, with charity status, we will now be allowed to raise funds within Ireland, opening the door to one of our longterm goals of being fully funded by Irish people.

So what does a dog do when it finally catches the car?

It takes tiny bites. We will maintain this time of celebration and gratitude until after our conference is over at the end of this month. In October, we will the process of developing, finalising, and rolling out our launch plan. I will let you know more info about that soon.

For now, let’s take time to be grateful for God’s favour. We want to thank you all so much for all the prayers and support through this season. Our blood, sweat, and tears have gone into this process and we absolutely could NOT have done it without your prayers to keep us covered and moving forward.
