Oklahoma Update

My (Blake’s) trip to OK so far has been amazing. I’ve gotten to see a few friends, some family, and many of our amazing supporters. This past weekend I was honored to share about Zoe at North Church with Pastor Rodney Fouts. They have been so generous to us and continue to partner with Zoe Community. We are so grateful for Pastor Rodney and the team there at North. They even let me play keys with their worship team in all their experiences! Thank you North Church for an amazing weekend and for years of partnership in the Kingdom!

I was also privileged to speak at Oolagah First Assembly of God with Pastor Kent Jensen. They were so welcoming and kind as I shared about Zoe Community. They are also incredibly generous partners, and we’re grateful to have them on our team. Thank you Pastor Kent and Oolagah First family!

We are grateful for you all. There are too many to name in one blog post, but please know that each and every one of you are appreciated. Together we’re all partnering to see God move in the lives of women experiencing crisis pregnancy. He will bring them help, healing, wholeness!

Trip to Oklahoma

My parents had a great time coming to visit us. They also were able to plan a few days running around together in England! We’re so grateful for time together as a family.

Please be in prayer for me (Blake) as I make a trip to Oklahoma this week. I’ll be there for 12 days meeting pastors and business owners to raise money for Zoe Community. We have some VERY big things coming in the next year that I cannot wait to share with you. As usual, the bigger the opportunity, the greater the cost. But God is our provider, and I’m so thankful for everyone of you who partner with us through praying and giving.

One of the unique aspects of our ministry as missionaries is we have not taken a typical furlough since we moved to Ireland over 10 years ago. That is completely due to the Lord’s faithfulness through consistent and committed partnerships with people like you. Your prayers and giving have allowed Katy and I to focus fully on maximizing opportunities for ten years straight. Thank you so much!

As Zoe grows, more partners are needed to see this vision become reality. Please pray for open doors and new partners to join our team as I travel to share the vision of Zoe Community.

Crisis Training Debut

This past Saturday we had our very first crisis training event. “Crisis Training sponsored by Zoe Community” is designed with three opportunities in mind. We have the opportunity to…

1. …present a bite-sized portion of our extensive training to equip laypeople in the church how to safely and effective support someone experiencing crisis.

2. …develop deeper relationships and partnerships between Zoe Community and local churches/pastors.

3. …promote Zoe Community Info Day to potential volunteers.

I’m so happy to tell you it was a great success! Avril (our Volunteer Support Coordinator) and Katy did an amazing job presenting the material. Special shout out to Avril sharing some of her story with integrity, vulnerability, and confidence in what God has done in her life.
