These are the words shouted by the ref at the beginning of a rugby scrum (for the Americans - the beginning of a play for possession of the ball). These words signal preparation for maximum strength and impact.
We feel like we are in that position now. We are preparing to go into this Autumn semester with hope and strength that can only come from Jesus. Over the past few months, we have been asked to help grow SFC outside of Dublin and have also had continued opportunities to serve on campuses in Dublin. Blake and I had a planning meeting last week and have come up with a list of things for you guys to keep in prayer:
- We would have energy, focus, and wisdom as our work load increases (we will be traveling periodically to three additional campuses in other areas of the nation).
- We would be purposeful to protect our couple and family time during this season of busy-ness.
- That our individual walks with God will flourish (busy times have a tendency to make Christian leaders neglect the most important Person in their lives).
- That everything we do be geared towards raising up Irish leaders to take over our jobs.
Thanks to all of you! Your prayers and support keep us encouraged and motivated - keep it up! We’re in this together.
