Eden's Dedication

On Sunday we had the privilege of dedicating our baby boy at St. Marks! It was a wonderful time and an encouragement to both of us to have so many of our church family present. While we missed our family in the States so much and would have given anything for them to have been there, we felt so much love from our friends here at church.

Eden is a future rock star…clearly, because he was chewing on Sean’s mic by the end. We thank God for our sweet boy and for the life he has ahead of him! It is such a joy to watch him grow and to think of how much the Lord loves him.

Chapel Group Thanksgiving

This past week we helped Chapel Group (the young adult ministry at St. Marks Church) put on a thanksgiving meal event. Over 70 students from all across Dublin gathered for amazing food, games, music, and giveaways. It was a wonderful evening of hanging out with new and old friends.

Katy, a few ladies in the church, and several students cooked all the food and served it up buffet style. One of the students looked at the food line and said, "That's more food than we'll ever be able to eat." I looked her in the eye and said, "Now it's Thanksgiving."

Seriously, we were very thankful this past week for opportunities God has given us to connect with students and help serve ministries such as Chapel Group. We are thankful they allowed us to come alongside them and help out.
Thank you for all of you who pray and give to bless students here in Dublin. As we enter this Christmas season, with two big student events coming up, we ask for continued prayers. We pray you have a wonderful holiday season full of joy with friends and family.

Party In The Crib

We had a surprise birthday party at our place the other night! Well...not exactly a surprise. The guy figured it out. Still, it was a fun gathering of about 20-30 college students crammed into our small-ish space! These guys in the picture attend something called Chapel Group at St. Marks every Wednesday night. Since our apartment is so conveniently close to St. Marks, they all came over afterwards for the festivities! We had great conversations and consumed copious amounts of sugar. Happy birthday to James O’Neill!
